Lotus got a £100 million investment from its owners, DRB HICOM, and are hiring 103 new staff.

Woo hoo! Go Lotus.

Trouble is, you have to live in Norfolk - which I suppose is a bit like Alabama. (Cue abuse from Alabamamamas)

Norfolk's a lovely place to live as long as you're not big on nightlife, theatres, and so-on. There aren't too many jobs near Hethel, so property is cheap by UK standards.

I actually quite like it. It just takes me 4 hours to get there so am always home late, which annoys me (Because of the bloody M25). Lowest rainfall in all the UK too

As someone once said, Norfolk has a bit of a reputation for being rural, backwards and inbred - and Lincolnshire doesn't even have that. I really like it there, though,

Whereabouts are you based that you end up on the M25 coming back from Norfolk, though? My dad's rule is something along the lines of 'don't even think about taking the M25 from the M11 - unless it's incredibly busy on the M11, in which case think about taking the M25, then don't'.
